I’m Back: A Fresh Start on Nobody Cares About Dad

It’s been a while, hasn’t it? Life has a funny way of pulling us in different directions, and somewhere along the way, I hit pause on writing. But now, I’m back. Back to doing what I love, back to pouring my thoughts and experiences onto the page, and back to connecting with all of you on Nobody Cares About Dad.

This blog has always been a space for raw honesty, humor, and the unfiltered realities of fatherhood, manhood, and everything in between. It’s not about sugarcoating life—it’s about saying what most dads are thinking but never get the chance to say. And I realised that stepping away from writing left a gap, not just for me but also for the incredible community that’s grown around this platform. So, here I am—ready to pick up the pen (or keyboard) and get back to it.

Where Have I Been?

Life doesn’t come with a manual—especially for dads. Over the past months, I’ve been navigating the usual chaos: work, parenting, and everything else that demands attention. Like many of you, I’ve been juggling responsibilities, sometimes feeling like I’m just trying to survive the day.

But something was missing. Writing has always been my outlet, my way of processing the highs and lows of life. The break was necessary—I needed time to refocus and recharge. But now, I feel that itch again to write, to share, and to connect with all of you who understand what it’s like to carry the weight of being a dad, a partner, and, well, just a guy trying to figure it all out.

What’s Next?

You can expect a lot more from Nobody Cares About Dad moving forward. Here’s what I’m planning:

1. More Honest Stories

Whether it’s about the hilarious mishaps of parenting or the moments of quiet reflection, I’ll be sharing the real, unvarnished truth of life as a dad.

2. Tackling Tough Topics

Fatherhood isn’t all laughs and dad jokes. We’ll dive into the challenges that dads face but don’t always talk about—mental health, relationships, identity, and the feeling of being invisible in a world that often overlooks the role of dads.

3. Engagement with the Community

I’ve missed hearing from you all—the comments, the shared stories, and the camaraderie that makes this blog so special. I’m looking forward to bringing back that dialogue.

Why It Matters

I’ve always believed that dads deserve a space where they can feel seen and heard. The world often doesn’t care about dad—but we do. This blog is a reminder that we’re not alone, even when it feels like we’re carrying the load on our own.

Writing is my way of giving back to this community—a way to show that the struggles, the joys, and the sheer ridiculousness of being a dad matter. And I’m excited to be back in the thick of it, sharing those stories with all of you.

Let’s Reconnect

To those who have been here since the beginning, thank you for sticking around. To new readers, welcome to the madness. Nobody Cares About Dad is for anyone who’s ever felt the weight of the world on their shoulders and still found a way to laugh through it.

So, here’s to a fresh start, new stories, and reconnecting with all of you. The journey is just beginning (again), and I couldn’t be more excited to have you along for the ride.

Let me know what topics you want me to dive into—drop a comment, send me a message, or just scream into the void. Whatever works for you.

Because even if nobody else cares about dad, we care about each other.

Stay tuned—there’s so much more to come.

Cheers,

The Dad Behind the Blog
